I would not use this doctor if you have medicaid or amerigroup. Initially he acts like he cares and even orders many tests to be conducted but will later contradict his original statements. He completely failed to communicate efficiently to the sleep study doctors which left them absolutely unprepared as stated from the sleep doctor herself. So much so I was contacted by such sleep doctor personally and she was upset at the fact they were so unprepared due to the lack of communication. She informed me She wanted to put together a team, with an ENT included to figure out what this issue Is. She and her staff both witnessed my throat closing up which inturn caused a seizure due to lack of air and panic from lack of air. I then get informed over the phone weeks later by Dr. Lehr a report inwhich completely contradicted everything the sleep doctor and numerous other doctors including Dr lehrs initiall comments have said. After I questioned where he was getting his information from Dr. LEHR then aggressively tried to talk over me in hopes he could write me off or something I have no clue, maybe just to cover up the fact he completely failed to mention any of my actual symptoms correctly. I am absolutely baffled by this doctors behavior. I and my primary as well as two other doctors i have spoken with, which believe since Dr. Lehr failed to inform the sleep study staff what my actual reason was for being their but instead told them to look for sleep apnea (which was never mentioned during the consultation) they and I believe he now is trying to retract his initial statements and back out of everything he originally said. I have the sleep study doctor as well as a few others who are requesting to admit me to the hospital so they and a team including an ent can diagnose me with something that may include severe laryngospasm....what is believed to be causing the seizures. So if I were you I'd look for another ENT. If you have something simple this guy may be your guy but if you truly need help with being diagnosed...if your life depends on this ENT,I would not use this man. He can only help you so much then he'll back out and push you off to someone else. Also watch out if you end up not believing his bs. He'll become upset and passive aggressivly talk over you, his patient...in whom he's suppose to be helping. Listening to. I've searched for 9 years and finally was able to get insurance and get a referral and I'm sad to say what a waste of time and energy. If I would have known this was how I would be treated I would have never requested this doctor. He left me in tears and in full anxiety once getting off the phone with this man. Such an unfortunate situation. I truly had hopes in this doctor. I've never had a doctor who completely lied or contradicted himself in such a manner as this man did. Why would I have multiple doctors request an ent and a sleep study in the first place if there wasn't a problem with my throat closing up everynight multiple times a night for the last 9 years, only in my sleep if I didnt need an ENT? Makes no sense. He makes absolutely no sense.
