Dr. Lehr was amazing from the first visit to my surgery. His staff is also very kind, accommodating, & helpful. Dr. Lehr helped put me at ease when I was very stressed about having surgery. He walked me through the process several times & didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had even if he had already did previously! He was very attentive & made the process so much easier with his calm demeanor. I ended up having thyroid cancer & that is not an easy pill to swallow but Dr. Lehr’s bedside manner is some of the best I’ve ever seen & made me feel better to have such a supportive doctor! Would definitely recommend & will be requesting him should I need other surgeries in the future!

I've had to have MANY major surgeries, in past 10 yrs& the last 2, while i was still living in KC, were by Dr Lehr, at Reaearch. Not only was he amazing AND thorough, but he's just a great guy! He offered to move my mom's car, out of snow storm, at the hospital! Reaearch , is KC's hidden gem of a hospital, especially for surgery, another surgeon, once told me& I FULLY agree! Thank you for actually caring, Dr Lehr!
