I can home from visiting family in Germany and was always sad to see I could never get the same sort of wurst as they do there.
Until I saw this store online! I gave it a shot and ordered two packs of smoky sticks and WOW. I could smell them from the box when it arrived at my door, I could not believe it. Absolutely ordering more, my husband can't get enough of these. Not to mention a great gift for family!!

I am always Leary about buying products that I can’t see in person especially food items, however, the Smokies pictures in the Lehr’s Handcrafted Sausage website lured me to order some to see if they would meet with my tastebud’s approval. When I received my first packages of Lehr’s Smokies, I liked what I saw and couldn’t wait to open one. To get ready for the first bite, I pulled out my favorite beverage, an ice cold Lone Star beer to get my tastebuds ready. OMG, upon tasting the fist bite of Smokies Jalapeño and cheese, I knew that I would be ordering more from Lehr’s. First of all, these smokies have the right amount of smoke flavor which allows the taste of sausage to remain true. Secondly, the heat of the Jalapeño peppers is not offensive and even my wife whose is super skeptical about peppers loved these smokies. I also bought the Sweet and Spicy and the Teriyaki ones and Lehr’s has “hit the nail on the head,” so to speak with their great tasting smokies.

Amazing meat selection and great quality meat. I'm a hunter an have taken deer there for processing, quick processing and great product. Top notch across the board; service, quality meats with many selections and a very reasonable price. I would recommend to anyone looking for top quality meats with and Old Fashioned butcher shop environment service. Great place for meat processing if you have the need. Not many places like this left anymore. Ask for "Red", you'll go back just for the conversation!!
